Below are some of the most frequently asked questions about Say Yes in Paris.
PRODUCTION
Is your jewellery made to order?
Yes, our jewellery is made to order in our Parisian atelier.
However, we do have some items available in stock, so please refer to the product description of the item for the estimated production time.
Is appointment necessary to come see an engagement or wedding ring?
We would like your experience to be perfect, that is why the appointment is mandatory.

REPAIRS
Do your items come with a warranty?
All Say Yes in Paris jewellery comes with a one year warranty from the purchase date, covering all manufacturing faults. Proof of purchase must be provided.
Please note, manufacturing faults do not include damage or wear and tear, broken chain, cracked or broken stones, or bending of rings or earrings.
My item is broken. Can you fix it?
Our talented studio team can repair almost all pieces back to their original state.
Please contact us via hello@sayyesinparis.com advising us (with photos) of what you need repaired. We will advise you to send the piece/s back to us, where it will be passed onto our studio team for their assessment.
Once assessed, we will be able to provide you with a description of the repair, including a quote. Repairs can take approximately 7 to 10 business days. Please note, postage to and from the studio is to be paid by the customer.
Do you offer a cleaning service?
Yes, please drop your items into our showroom by appointment, or contact us to organise a cleaning service.
If styles can be cleaned by our team in-store, this service is complimentary. If styles need polishing, re-plating or extra cleaning, there will be a fee for this.
ORIGIN OF DIAMONDS
Do you use diamonds and precious stones that are genuine and ethically sourced?
Yes, we do. All of our diamonds and precious stones are sourced by our Gemologist from their trusted and established dealers. For diamonds, we work with accredited suppliers that use the Kimberley Process.
Do you use only natural or also lab grown diamonds?
We provide both natural and lab grown diamonds as per our customer’s express request. Please contact us via hello@sayyesinparis.com if you wish us to select lab grown diamonds for you.
Are your diamonds certified?
At Say Yes in Paris we only use certified (GIA, HRD) diamonds for sizes 0.30ct and over.
ORDERS & DISPATCH
How long will it take to receive my order?
Each of our pieces are crafted to order. In the product description for each style, we provide an estimated production time, or will advise if an item is available for immediate dispatch.
Made to Measure Rings Collection ships within 30 business days.
Ready to Ship rings and jewellery are dispatched the next business day.
I need my order urgently. Can you get it to me sooner?
Although we cannot make any guarantees, if you need your order urgently, please contact our team via hello@sayyesinparis.com and we will do our best to fulfil your order as soon as possible.
Can I change my order details after it has been placed?
 If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, we are able to amend your personal details, such as your shipping address.
If you are needing to alter the contents of your order in any way, such as changing size, or adding products please contact us via hello@sayyesinparis.com as soon as possible.
I didn’t receive an order confirmation and/or tracking information. What should I do?
 Firstly, please check your spam/junk mail folders, as sometimes our order confirmations can appear there.
Otherwise, please ensure the contact information you gave us is up-to-date and correct.
Once checked, please email us via hello@sayyesinparis.com and we will be able to assist you and confirm your order.
PRICING, TAX & VAT REFUND
Are prices shown VAT included or excluded?
Prices are shown in EUR (€) and are tax inclusive (TTC), excluding delivery costs.
What happens for orders shipped outside the European Union?
Orders shipped outside the EU are exempt from French VAT (20%). Customs duties and local taxes applied by the destination country are payable by the recipient.
Am I eligible for a VAT refund as a non-EU resident?
Eligible clients residing outside the European Union may benefit from a VAT refund, subject to applicable regulations.
Do you assist with VAT refund (detaxe) paperwork?
Yes. VAT refund documentation must be requested on the day of purchase. Please contact our Client Relations team via hello@sayyesinparis.com the same day.
PAYMENT METHODS & SECURITY
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit and debit cards (secure SSL payment), PayPal, and bank transfer.
Is a deposit required?
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your order and begin production. The balance is due prior to dispatch or collection.
How long does a bank transfer take to process?
Orders paid by bank transfer are processed within 48 hours after receipt of funds.
Is payment secure?
Yes. All card payments are secured via SSL encryption, and payment details do not transit through the Site.
SHIPPING, INSURANCE & RESPONSIBILITY
Is my order insured during shipping?
Yes. All shipments are fully insured until signature on delivery.
Is a signature required upon delivery?
Yes. All deliveries require a signature, and tracking information is provided.
When does responsibility transfer to the client?
Responsibility transfers at the moment of signature upon delivery.
What happens if my package is delayed, lost, or damaged?
In the unlikely event of an issue, our team will assist promptly and liaise with the courier and insurer.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to most destinations worldwide via specialised carriers.
Who is responsible for customs duties and local taxes?
Any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges applicable in the destination country are payable by the recipient.
What are the typical delivery timelines?
Delivery timelines vary by destination and exclude production time. Tracking details are provided upon dispatch.
Are there countries you do not ship to?

CONFIDENTIALITY & DISCRETION
Is packaging discreet?
Yes. All orders are shipped in discreet, unbranded packaging.
Can communication and delivery remain confidential for a surprise proposal?
Absolutely. Confidential communication and discreet delivery are integral to our service.
CARE & LONG-TERM MAINTENANCE
How should I care for my diamond jewellery?
To preserve brilliance and longevity, avoid contact with chemicals, cosmetics, and hard surfaces. Store jewellery separately, clean gently with lukewarm water and a soft brush, and remove jewellery during sports or heavy activity.
Do you recommend regular checks?
Yes. We recommend an annual check, offered free of charge, to ensure stones and settings remain secure.
When should I bring my ring back to the atelier?
If your ring has been knocked, dropped, or if anything feels unusual, we advise bringing it back promptly for inspection.
DIAMOND CONCIERGE SERVICES
What service can I expect from the Diamond Concierge?
You are welcome to ask us anything to ensure your proposal unfolds smoothly.
If you are coming to Paris to propose, we offer three levels of service, from a complimentary self-led guide to a fully customised proposal experience. Services may include assistance with location selection, discreet coordination, delivery of the ring, and introductions to trusted photographers or videographers.

How fast can I get my ring delivered by Diamond Concierge?
We offer free same day delivery for all completed orders in Paris.

BESPOKE DIAMOND JEWELLERY DESIGNS AND ORDERING
Can I have an engagement ring or other jewellery custom designed and made?
Absolutely, we make lots of different custom pieces for our clients. Our expert gemmologist can select any kind of diamonds, gemstones or lab grown diamonds for you.

How long does it take to order and receive my ring?
Our production time for bespoke designs depends on the complexity of the piece and takes approximately 4-8 weeks. Please contact us to start the process.
When is payment of bespoke orders due?
We require a 30% deposit to begin production, with the remaining balance due on completion of the ring or piece of jewellery.
How will my custom order be shipped?
We send all of our pieces via a fully insured express courier service, that delivers to most locations across the globe.
